How Are Your Projects Estimated? Initially, we’ll discuss your project and estimate it with ballpark square foot numbers. Then, we’ll break it down to all the details and assign one of our supervisor to the job who will typically have day-to-day interaction with the clients. Project Management will continue to be handled from each of our offices.

What Do Your Estimates Include?
These days, no one wants to use linoleum instead of tile or hardwood, or single-pane windows when more energy-efficient double or triple are the norm. Our clients don't want Formica or old tile countertops like they did in the old day; they now want slab countertops.

Clients always want a high end, high quality job, but do realize that California is one of the most expensive places in the world to build because of high labor costs, high product costs, and high home costs. Our estimates account for safety over efficiency and speed, but with a close eye on realistic labor costs, time and materials.

How Do I Make My Project Run More Efficiently?
We strongly recommend that you know what you want to do and have all of your information up-front for our initial meeting so that we can provide you with a proper estimate. If nothing changes from the complete set of plans or blueprints, you’ll know what your project will cost with a set price going in.

What Will It Cost to Change My Bathroom Tile or Another Major Item?
When you start saying, “I just don’t know… this tile / countertop / backsplash / etc. just doesn’t look right to me,” then we will have to open a Change Order and provide subsequent cost revisions in writing. We want to prevent jobs where we’ll install tile, or a window, then have to tear them out and redo that portion of the project.

How Does Kelly Pacific Communicate Daily on Each Project?
Once the project starts, the day-to-day details increase in scope, so we’ll be in touch by phone, by text, or by email. If you then want to move a door or a window, we’ll estimate the costs with a Change Order.
